Ashley Estes Kavanaugh – Career
Ashley Estes Kavanaugh has had an astounding career span. In 1996, she started to serve as an assistant to George W. Bush, who was then serving as Governor of Texas. Kavanaugh kept the position till 1999. She reprised the position once again in 2000 when George W. Bush ran the presidential campaign.
After Bush became president of the United States in January 2001, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh immediately occupied the position of Personal Secretary to the President all the way through 2004.
With her lifelong commitment to Bush, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh again worked as Director of Special Projects at the George W. Bush Presidential Foundation. She held the position from 2005 to 2009. After retiring from the position of Director, Kavanaugh served as Media Relations Coordinator at the George W. Bush Presidential Center for more than a year from 2009 to 2010.
Currently, Ashley Estes Kavanaugh works as the town manager of the village of Chevy Chase Section Five, Maryland, starting in 2016.
