Billie Lourd is an actress by profession and American by nationality. She is well known as the daughter of Carrie Fisher and is best known for her work in Scream Queens, American Horror Story, and the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

Billie Lourd was born on July 17, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was born Billie Catherine Lourd to her mother Carrie Fisher, an actress, and her father Bryan Lourd, a talent agent.

She is her parents' only child and has no siblings. However, from her father's marriage to Bruce Bozzi, she has an adopted sister named Ava.

As Lourd was born into a family of entertainers, she has other famous names in her family. Her maternal grandparents are actress Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher. She is the niece of Todd Fisher, Joely Fisher, and Tricia Leigh Fisher.

A few months after Billie Lourd’s breakup with Lautner, she rekindled the relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Austen Rydell, in early 2017. In June 2016, it was revealed that they were engaged and set to marry in the near future.

In September 2020, the couple she and her boyfriend welcomed son Kingston Fisher Lourd Rydell, having kept the entire pregnancy a secret. They eventually married on March 12, 2022. With her husband, she gave birth to their second child, daughter Jackson Joanne Lourd Rydell (born December 2022).

The young actress began her career in 2015 as Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Films, series

Since then, she has played roles in films such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), Billionaire Boys Club (2018), Booksmart (2019), Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), Ticket to Paradise (2022), The Last Showgirl (2024), and A Very Jonas Christmas Movie (2025). 

In the TV series, Billie Lourd landed the central role of Sadie Swenson / Chanel #3 in Scream Queens (2015-2016). She has also had roles in several episodes of American Horror Story: Cult (2017-2024) and American Horror Story: Apocalypse (2018).
