Worthy began his career at the age of 9. His debut role was in Fox's Night Visions. When he was 10 years old, he landed a minor role in the British miniseries I Was a Rat. Soon he guest-starred in TV series The Days (2004), Supernatural (2008), Smallville (2009), and in films Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), The Last Mimzy (2007), and Mulligans (2008).

Finally, in 2009, Calum Worthy landed the main role of Lee in Stormworld. Since then, he has starred in the TV series Tower Prep (2010), Good Luck Charlie (2011), Austin & Ally (2011-2016), Longmire (2012), The Coppertop Flop Show (2012-2014), American Vandal (2017), Reboot (2022), among others.
