Diallo Riddle is a writer, producer, actor, comedian, and DJ by profession, and an American by nationality. He is well known for his work in sitcoms, Marlon, South Side, The Last O.G., and Maya & Marty.

Diallo Riddle – Birth, Parents, Siblings

Diallo Riddle’s birth took place on May 6, 1977, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He was born to his father, John Riddle Jr., an artist and curator, and his mother, Carmen Riddle. His father was the 6th child of his grandparents. His grandmother was the first African-American woman to graduate from USC Law School.

He is not the only child of his parents and has six siblings as well.

Education, Ethnicity

For education, he attended Benjamin Elijah Mays High School, and after graduation, studied at Harvard University. Other information on his siblings and childhood is still under wraps.

His ethnicity is African-American.

Diallo Riddle – Girlfriend, Wife, Children

Riddle happily married his longtime girlfriend, Brittany Riddle, on 20 April 2009. In a 2018 interview with The Hedonist Magazine, he said that they had known each other for 20 years and were an “old married couple.” 

Brittany is a longtime friend of Chrissy Teigen, the wife of 10 Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter John Legend.

Diallo Riddle and his wife have three children together – sons Felix Coltrane Riddle (born November 2009), Calvin Riddle (born February 2012), and Desmond Thomas Agassi Riddle (born March 2017).  

Desmond was born with craniosynostosis and had to undergo surgery at a few months old. Currently, the couple is living together without news of extra-marital affairs or divorce.

Diallo Riddle – Career

Early Career

While a student at Harvard University, he worked as a writer on Comedy Central’s Chocolate News. Later on, in 2008, he served as a writer and performer in the show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

With Bashir Salahuddin, he wrote Brothers in Atlanta, which was commissioned by HBO but was later canceled. Also with the  Salahuddin brothers, Diallo Riddle wrote South Side.

Recent work

Diallo Riddle also co-wrote Slow Jam The News with Barack Obama, Sherman's Showcase, Taraji and Terrence’s White Hot Holidays, The Maya Rudolph Show, South Side, and Sherman's Showcase. As an actor, he has starred in the pilot show The Reporters (2013), Silicon Valley, Marlon, Rise, and The Last O.G., among others.
