Who is Dichen Lachman?

Dichen Lachman is an actress by profession, Australian by nationality, and Tibetan, Nepalese, German, and Australian by ethnicity. She is best known for her work in Neighbours, Dollhouse, Being Human, Lust for Love, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and Altered Carbon.

Dichen Lachman’s birth took place on 22 February 1982 in Kathmandu, Nepal. She was born to a Tibetan-Nepalese mother, Tashi Lachman, and a German-Australian father, Chris Lachman. She is not the only child of her parents and has two siblings - a brother and a sister.

Dichen Lachman was raised in Kathmandu until she was 8 years old. The family then moved to Adelaide, Australia, where she was raised into adulthood. For education, she attended Norwood Morialta High School. 

After graduation, she attended St Mary's College in Adelaide, Annesley College, and the University of Adelaide.

Her ethnicity includes Tibetan, Nepalese, German, and Australian.

Dichen Lachman – Boyfriend, Husband, Children, Divorce

Dichen Lachman married her longtime boyfriend, Maximilian Osinski, on January 24, 2015, after a six-month engagement. Osinski is an actor and a writer. She and her husband have welcomed a child together – daughter Mathilda Osinski (born in May 2015).

The couple is raising their daughter together, and there has been no news of extramarital affairs or divorce.

Pre Fame

Lachman began her professional career in 2005. She was cast in the short film Eastworld, followed by the role of Katya Kinski in Neighbours (2005-2007). After the series ended, she moved to Los Angeles.

Already an established actress, her role as Sierra / Priya Tsetsang in the TV series Dollhouse gained her much more recognition. Dichen Lachman portrayed the role for a total of 27 episodes until 2010.
