Who is Dina Manzo?

Dina Manzo is a television personality, entrepreneur, and reality TV star by profession, and an American by nationality. She is best known for starring in the reality TV show The Real Housewives of New Jersey and her own party-planning television series Dina's Party.

Dina Manzo’s birth took place on March 7, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. She was born Claudine J. Laurita to mother Nettie Laurita and father Joseph Laurita.

She is not the only child of her parents and has 10 siblings, among whom she is the youngest. Her six siblings are- brothers Chris Laurita, Jaime Laurita, and Joseph Laurita, and sisters Caroline Manzo, Angela Rooney, and Francesca D’Annunzio. 

Manzo has revealed that she is not close to her sister, Caroline Manzo.

Dina Manzo was married to her first husband, George Hadjiapostoli. From this marriage, she had a child and gave birth to her daughter, Alexia Hadjiapostoli (aka Lexi Loannou) on January 25, 1996. The details of her marriage, as well as her divorce, are not known.

She went on to date Thomas Manzo. She married her longtime boyfriend, turned fiancé, on 11 August 2005. They separated in October 2012, and the married couple’s divorce was finalized in February  2016.

In 2017, she and her boyfriend, David Cantin, were victims of a home invasion that left both badly beaten and bound. The couple, who have been dating since revealed in August 2018 that they are now engaged to be married. They had secretly tied the knot on June 28, 2017.

On January 17, 2019, Dina Manzo admitted that she had had a few miscarriages in the recent past.

Before fame

Manzo moved to Wayne, New Jersey, at the age of 10. She started her boutique event planning company called Designer Affair in 2005 and is the co-owner of The Brownstone.

She first came to the spotlight with the VH1 series My Fabulous Wedding in 2007. She started on the show for the first two seasons along with her then-husband Tommy Manzo. Soon, she appeared in the hit reality show The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2009. She was on the series for the first two seasons along with her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Laurita.

Dina Manzo made her comeback on the show once again in 2014, for the sixth season. However, in 2015, she moved to California and departed from the show. She has also starred in films Tainted Dreams (2014) and Teresa Checks In (2015).

Moreover, Manzo has hosted two seasons of the party-planning series Dina's Party on HGTV. But the series was canceled after two seasons. In addition to her TV career, she has released a skincare product, Glow by Dina, in 2016 while also running a nonprofit foundation called Project Ladybug.
