Freddie Stroma is an actor and model by profession, and British by nationality. He is best known for his role in the Harry Potter films, A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, and Game of Thrones.

Freddie Stroma was born on January 8, 1987, in London, Greater London, Middlesex, England. He was born Frederic Wilhelm C. J. Sjöström to parents Stefan Sjöström, a computer industry executive, and Crystal Sjöström. He was raised in Ascot, Berkshire, along with two siblings- younger brother Philipp Sjöström and older sister Antonia Sjöström.

As for studies, Freddie Stroma attended Radley College, graduating in 2005. He then went on to enroll at the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Talking about his childhood dreams, he said, "I'm the crazy one in the family. When I was young, I never really thought I would go into acting. At that age, I wanted to be a ninja, but the dream to be an actor started when I was sixteen."

Freddie Stroma began dating his Unreal co-star, Johanna Braddy, in the summer of 2015. The couple soon engaged on 15 May 2016 after Stroma proposed to his girlfriend during a romantic weekend in Vancouver, Canada.

The same year, on 30 December 2016, the engaged couple married at The Stables at Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. Stroma began his career as a model to pay for University fees. He modeled for Acne Underwear in 2008. Before Freddie Stroma earned fame by acting, he had portrayed roles in the TV series Mayo, Casualty, and the film Lady Godiva.
