Halston Sage was born on May 10, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was born to her mother, Tema Sage, and her father, Lenny Sage. She was raised by her parents, alongside her two siblings- a younger brother named Max Sage and a younger sister named Kate Sage.

For education, Halston Sage attended The Archer School for Girls and was the editor of her high school's newspaper, and was also a competitive horse rider.

Although she lives most of her life in the spotlight, Halston Sage has kept her private life as far away from the prying eyes, as much as possible.

She was the girlfriend of James Maslow and began dating in 2011. But the couple soon broke up in 2013. Sage then went on to start a romantic relationship with Chord Overstreet in 2014. This affair too did not last, and the young lovers soon parted ways.

Sage’s next boyfriend was Seth MacFarlane, and was reportedly dating him since 2017. She also dated Charlie Puth, and the two started their relationship in September 2018. However, the relationship was short-lived.

In January 2020, it was reported that Sage was dating actor Zac Efron. However, this was never confirmed, and the rumors eventually fizzled out.

She is not yet married and sans husband or children.

Early Career

Before Halston Sage became famous in Hollywood, she was a model and began modeling at the age of 14.

But her parents were a little concerned for their daughter when first starting out in Hollywood, “I did grow up in Los Angeles. I actually didn't start acting until I was sixteen, so I was very removed from the Hollywood scene. I had always been in my school plays, but my mom and dad wanted to keep me out of the business until I was old enough to know who I was and not let anyone change me.”

Later, she was cast as Grace on the Nickelodeon series How to Rock. The year was 2011, and the series began to air on February 4, 2012. Although the series ran for just 25 episodes, it was enough to help her career as an actress.

Soon she landed minor roles in Nickelodeon's Victorious, Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures, and Crisis.

Halston Sage finally landed the breakthrough role of Alara Kitan in the series The Orville. The series began to air on September 10, 2017. But in January 2019, it was reported that Sage had actually left the show.

However, the good news is that her departure was considered open-ended, which enables her to return to the series in the future.
