Jalen Ramsey is a football player by profession and an American by nationality. He is currently a cornerback for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL).

Jalen Ramsey’s birth took place on October 24, 1994, in Smyrna, Tennessee, USA. He was born Jalen Lattrel Ramsey to his father, Lamont Ramsey, a firefighter, and his mother, Margie Ramsey. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, an older brother named Jamal Ramsey.

For education, he attended Ensworth High School before transferring to Brentwood Academy. After graduation, he enrolled at Florida State University.

Jalen Ramsey was in a relationship with his girlfriend, Breanna Tate, a former sprinter at Ole Miss and the sister of Golden Tate. The couple welcomed their daughter Bree Erin on 26 July 2018. Their second daughter, Brooklyn, was born in September 2019.
However, the couple soon broke up as he left then-pregnant Tate for Monica Giavanna. Giavanna is a model, dancer, and Penn State University Alumna. This relationship ended in March 2020 due to cheating accusations.
His ex-girlfriend, Breanna Tate, welcomed their daughter Joonie.

Jalen Ramsey – Career
Early Career
While in high school, Jalen Ramsey was a two-sport star in football and track & field. He was highly decorated in high school track and was rated by Rivals.com and Scout.com as a five-star recruit and one of the top overall recruits in his class.
On May 24, 2013, which was his final high school track meet, he broke a 16-year-old record set in 1997 with a long jump of the mark of 25′ 3.25″.

College sports
Also at the University, he played college football he played for the Florida State Seminoles. As a freshman, he started all 14 games and finished the year with 49 tackles, one interception, and one sack.
In his sophomore year, Jalen Ramsey played 14 games with 80 tackles, two interceptions, 12 passes defended, three forced fumbles, and two sacks. He played 13 games in his junior year with one sack, nine passes defended, and one fumble recovery on 52 tackles.
Jalen Ramsey also competed in track & field as a relay sprinter and long jumper and was a member of the Florida State Indoor and Outdoor championship track and field team.
In 2013, he was a three-time All-ACC honoree, and in 2014 was ranked second nationally among NCAA Division I football players. The same year, he was placed third at the 2014 ACC Indoor Championship in the long jump (7.46 m).

Professional career
In the 2016 NFL draft, Jalen Ramsey was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first round with the fifth overall pick. On May 22, 2016, he signed a four-year, $23.35 million contract, including $22.90 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $15.18 million contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Again, on April 25, 2019, he was picked up as the fifth-year option by the Jaguars. He played the 2016 to 2019 with the team. In June 2019, it was revealed that the Jaguars won't be giving him a contract extension this year.
