Jeroen van Koningsbrugge is an actor, comedian, singer, director, and TV presenter by profession and Dutch by nationality. He is best known for a satirical television program called Neonletters, De Lama's and Draadstaal, and the band Jurk, along with Dennis van de Ven.

Jeroen van Koningsbrugge – Career

Before fame

As a young child, Jeroen van Koningsbrugge loved music, and by the age of 18, he was already playing in a band. 

While in his fourth year at Kleinkunst Academy, he auditioned for the TV series IC. He worked in the series for a total of three seasons, portraying the role of Harry Peeters. This was followed by minor roles in Baantjer, Koppels / Midlife Crisis, and Sprint while also appearing in commercials.

van Koningsbrugge started his career in theatre in 1999. There he performed in numerous plays with theatre groups, including Christ Superstars and Hamlet, which was awarded Gouden Gids Publieksprijs in 1998.

He has also starred in the theatre production of Theu Boermans, Gilamesh, among others. On TV, he has worked in De Lama's, Ik hou van Holland, Iedereen is Gek op Jack, Luke and Lucy: The Texas Rangers (2009), Links.

Moreover, Dennis van de Ven and Jeroen van Koningsbrugge have written and performed in their own comedy sketch show Neonletters, and musical debut JURK!. 

The duo has also released the album Avondjurk (Evening Gown), which went gold, selling over one hundred thousand copies, and was followed by very successful tours in over  50 theatres nationwide.

He was also the lead singer of the rock band Zeus, along with bandmates drummer Paul Jansen, guitarist Roy Jansen, and bassist Bob Gerritsen. They have released two albums to date- Bad Signs (2005) and '07 (2007).
