Joe Cole’s birth took place on November 28, 1988, in Kingston upon the Thames, London, England. He was born Joseph Michael Cole to his mother, Elizabeth Jacquest, and his father, Michael Cole.

He is not the only child of his parents and has four siblings, all younger brothers. Actor Finn Cole is the younger brother of his. They were raised in South West London.

Cole’s acting career began when he was accepted into the National Youth Theatre. His debut role was in an episode of The Bill as Leo Cooper in 2010. The same year, he landed roles in Holby City, Stanley Park, and the short film Assessment.

Finn Cole also has had roles in Come Fly with Me (2011), Injustice (2011), Skins (2012), The Hour (2012), Playhouse Presents (2013), Peaky Blinders (2013-2017), and The Falling (2014).
