Like most child actors, her career in acting started with appearances in local commercials. Gradually, with her natural talent for acting, Butters began to land roles in TV.

Butters’ appearance in California Almonds captured the writer of Criminal Minds. With her in mind, he wrote an episode, “Gabby,” in which Butters could star.
