Julianna Zobrist is a singer, speaker, and author by profession, and an American by nationality. The Christian musician performs a Christian pop style of electronic dance music. She is also known for her relationship and marriage to MLB player Ben Zobrist.

Julianna Zobrist’s birth took place on October 5, 1984, in Orlando, Florida, USA. She was born Julianna Joy Gilmore to her father, Jeff Gilmore, a pastor, and her mother, Cheryl Gilmore (née Kauk).

She is not the only child of her parents and has five siblings, among whom she is the fourth. Her elder siblings are named Liz, Rosie, and Jeffrey Paul, and her younger siblings are named Caroline and Jonathan. Zobrist spent the first seven years of her life in Florida before the family moved to Iowa City, Iowa.

Julianna Zobrist married her longtime boyfriend Ben Zobrist on 17 December 2005, when she was 21. She and her husband have welcomed three children together.

Their son  Zion Benjamin Zobrist was born on February 1, 2009. On September 19, 2011, Julianna Zobrist gave birth to her daughter, Kruse Allegra Zobrist. The couple’s third child, also a girl, was born on November 6, 2015. They named her Blaise Royal Zobrist.

After 14 years of marriage, the married couple decided to end their marriage. It was reported in May 2019 that she had filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences,” while Ben Zobrist filed for divorce, alleging his wife “has been guilty of inappropriate marital conduct, which rendered further cohabitation impossible.”

Both filed for divorce in separate states. Later, it was revealed that she had an affair with former Nashville pastor Byron Yawn, who had counseled them on their marital problems. In August 2021 the divorce trial began and was finalized in 2022

It was also confirmed that Julianna and Yawn were still together but had separated.

Julianna Zobrist – Career

Julianna Zobrist has been intrigued by fashion since her high school years, but chose to pursue a career in music.

She began her professional career in 2008 by recording her extended play (EP) The Tree. The EP was released on January 8, 2009. This was followed by the release of Julianna Zobrist’s second EP titled Say It Now on April 17, 2012.

Her debut studio album, Shatterproof, was released on July 1, 2016. Two of the singles from the album, The Dawn and Alive, peaked at No. 30 on the Christian AC Indicator chart and No. 48 on the Christian Digital Songs chart, respectively.

In 2016, Julianna Zobrist had the opportunity to sing the national anthem for the Kansas City Royals. She also sang God Bless America for the Chicago Cubs before Game 4 of the  2016 World Series.
