Early career

Glusman began his career in 2008 and was cast in the film The Iconographer. This was followed by minor roles in Blow Up (2012), Ratter (2015), and Stonewall (2015), and he lent his voice in 2012’s Starship Troopers: Invasion.

Breakthrough

After shooting a TV commercial with Adidas, Karl Glusman flew to France for a fresh start. There, he met Argentine-French film director Gaspar Noé through a mutual friend. Noe cast him in the controversial erotic drama Love. At the premiere of Love at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, Glusman met Tom Ford, who cast him in Nocturnal Animals (2016).
