Lauren Burnham is a reality TV star, a salesperson by profession, and an American by nationality. She is best known for competing on the 22nd season of ABC's The Bachelor. She married Arie Luyendyk Jr. and has a daughter with her husband.

Lauren Burnham – Birth, Parents, Siblings

Lauren Burnham’s birth took place on 19 November 1991 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA. She was born to her mother Pamela Burnham and her father David Burnham, a trained Navy and President and CEO of CAVU International. 

Her mother has her own business, and previously she served as a nurse in intensive care, hospice, and home health. She is not the only child of her parents and has two siblings- a younger brother named Luke Burnham and a sister named Heather Burnham.

For education, she attended Old Dominion University, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology. She also enrolled at Central Washington University, where she received a degree in Pre-Medicine Studies. Burnham also has a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo. 

She belongs to the Caucasian ethnicity.

Even though Lauren Burnham finished the show as a runner-up, she was later proposed to by Arie Luyendyk Jr. This was a controversial move as Luyendyk had previously proposed to contestant Rebecca Kufrin on the season finale of the show The Bachelor.

Luyendyk later regretted his decision, broke off his engagement with Kufrin, and rekindled his relationship with Lauren Burnham. 

Burnham and Luyendyk started dating in 2018 and just a few months later got engaged, which was announced on 6 March 2018. She married her boyfriend, who turned fiancé, on January 12, 2019, in Haiku Mill, Maui, Hawaii.

On 29 May 2018, Lauren Burnham and her husband welcomed a daughter, Alessi Ren Luyendyk. They are happy together without rumors of extra-marital affairs or divorce.

In addition, in June 2021, they became parents again after Lauren gave birth to twins, son Lux Jacob Luyendyk and daughter Senna James Luyendyk. They welcomed their fourth child, Livvy Rowe Luyendyk, on September 18, 2025.
