She also has a younger sibling - a brother named Ryder Beer. Her parents divorced when she was young, and she grew up mostly with her mother while her father later remarried.

With a dream of becoming a singer, Madison Beer created her own YouTube channel at the age of 13. She soon uploaded videos of her singing popular songs. From there, her entire career changed for good on July 17, 2012. Justin Bieber tweeted a link to her cover of Etta James' "At Last," writing, “Wow. 13 years old! She can sing. GreatJob.”

From there, subscribers to her YouTube channel reached over 500k! Wowed by her voice, Bieber decided to meet her in person! Soon enough, Madison Beer signed a deal with the British-American label ‘Island Records'. 

Speaking of her sudden fame, she said, “I’ll forever be grateful to Justin (Bieber). I was just chilling at home [in Long Island, New York] when my friend texted me the news. There are no words to explain how it felt to see my name trending and that my idol had given me that validation. It was just amazing.”

She has partnered up with the fashion doll franchise, Monster High, for the theme song We Are Monster High. Another great opportunity arrived when singer Cody Simpson re-released his song ‘Valentine’ along with Madison Beer. Her first single Melodies was also released on September 12, 2013. 

A year later, she released her second single Unbreakable. After two successful singles, Beer collaborated with DJ Mako, followed by a couple of more singles.

Over a three-year period, Beer recorded her extended play (EP) titled As She Pleases, which was released on February 2, 2018. For the EP, she worked with Raye and Madison Love, among others. She has also collaborated with American rapper Offset for the song Hurts Like Hell.
