Margaret Qualley was born on October 23, 1994, in Montana, USA. Her full name/birth name is Sarah Margaret Qualley, her mother is actress Andie MacDowell, and her father is former model, rancher, model, contractor, and musician Paul Qualley.

She has two older siblings- a brother named Justin Qualley and a sister named Rainey Qualley, who is also an actress, dancer, model, and singer-songwriter. They were raised in Asheville, NC. But when she was 5 years old, their parents separated, so she spent her time equally with each parent.

Growing up, Margaret Qualley was trained as a ballerina. At the age of 14, she studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts and later studied at the American Ballet Theatre in New York. So, she later attended Professional Children’s School, London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and New York University.

In June 2019, she dated comedian Pete Davidson for four months, who was engaged to singer Ariana Grande and had flings with Kate Beckinsale and supermodel Kaia Gerber. She briefly dated Shia LaBeouf from late 2020 to January 2021.

In August 2021, Qualley was rumored to be dating Jack Antonoff, and later their relationship was confirmed in October 2021 after being pictured showing PDA in NYC. In May 2022, it was confirmed that the couple had now gotten engaged. They married on August 19, 2023.

She is yet to have children with her husband. There is no news of divorce surrounding the pair.

Modeling

At the age of 16, she opted to pursue a career in modeling. In 2011, when Qualley was just 16, she made her debut as a model during New York Fashion Week, walking for Alberta Ferretti. She then modeled for Valentino, Chanel, Vogue, W, Teen Vogue, Interview, Vanity Fair, and Nylon.

But 5 months into it, Qualley quit modeling. She said, "It made me feel silly, to be honest." At the same time, she had taken her first improvised-acting class, and against all her childhood inclinations, she fell for acting.
