Matthew Lawrence is an actor and singer by profession, and an American by nationality. He is best known for his work in Mrs. Doubtfire, Boy Meets World, and Brotherly Love.

Matthew Lawrence’s birth took place on February 11, 1980, in Abington Township, Pennsylvania, USA. He was born Matthew William Lawrence to his mother Donna Lynn (née Shaw), a personnel manager, and his father Joseph Lawrence, Sr., an insurance broker.
He is not only the child of his parents and two siblings, older brother Joey Lawrence and younger brother Andy Lawrence. Both of his brothers are actors.

Around 11 years later, Matthew Lawrence reconciled with Cheryl Burke in February 2017. He proposed to Burke on May 3, 2018, which was also her birthday. The couple married on May 23, 2019, in San Diego, California.

Before Fame
Lawrence began his professional career as an actor in 1984. He was only 4 years old but had booked 2 national commercials. His debut role was Danny Carrington in the TV series Dynasty for a total of 3 episodes.
Throughout the 1990s, he continued to keep his name as a child actor, appearing in TV series Lifestories: Families in Crisis (1990), Angels in the Endzone (1997), Gimme a Break! (1986-1987), Walter & Emily (1991-1992), and in the films Mrs. Doubtfire (1993), The Hairy Bird (1998), etc.

Breakthrough role
Finally, in 1994, he landed his breakthrough role in Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad as Sam Collins / Servo and played the character until 1995.
He played the character until 1997. Soon after, Matthew Lawrence landed the main role of Matt Roman in Brotherly Love (1995-1997) and as Jack Hunter in Boy Meets World (1997-2000).
