She is not the only child of her parents and has an older brother named Joshua Scott.

As a singer

Naomi Scott began singing with the Bridge Church Youth Band. While in school, she was a regular performer in school musical and drama productions. Scott was actually discovered by British pop singer Kéllé Bryan. She had attended Bryan’s performance, who signed Scott as a client.

Over the years, she has released three EPs, namely, Invisible Division (August 2014), Promises (August 2016), and Vows. In addition, her singles released are Motions, Lover's Lies, Vows, and Irrelevant.

Moreover, Scott has collaborated with Xenomania, Nick Brewer, and Bridgit Mendler on the album Lemonade Mouth, etc. Also, Scott has appeared in the music videos of the song Hurricane by Lemonade Mouth co-star Mendler.

Naomi Scott’s debut acting role was in the Disney Channel UK series Life Bites. She was cast in Disney’s Lemonade Mouth (2011), Terra Nova (2011), By Any Means (2013), and Lewis (2015-2016). She portrayed the role of Ryoko in Ridley Scott's 2015 movie The Martian, but her scenes were removed from the final cut. 

The young actress's big break came in 2017 with the role of Kimberly Hart/ Pink Ranger in the film Power Rangers. After initial success, Scott was cast as Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, released in May 2019.
