Ross Lynch is a singer, songwriter, actor, and musician by profession, and an American by nationality. He was in the bands R5 and The Driver Era and is best known for acting in Austin & Ally and the series Teen Beach Movie.

Ross Lynch’s birth took place on December 29, 1995, in Littleton, Colorado, USA. He was born Ross Shor Lynch to his father, Mark Lynch, and his mother, Stormie Lynch. His parents raised him with his four siblings - older brothers Riker Lynch and Rocky Lynch, younger brother Ryland Lynch, and older sister Rydel Lynch.

Ross Lynch – Career

As a musician

Lynch began his professional career in 2009. He had learned to play piano, drums, and bass growing up and had also danced for the Rage Boyz Crew.

He was the vocalist of the band R5. In March 2010, they released an EP, Ready Set Rock, and signed with Hollywood Records in April 2012. The band then released EP Loud (2013), Live in London (2014), Heart Made Up on You (2014), New Addictions (2017), and full-length albums Louder (2013), and Sometime Last Night (2015).

On April 2, 2012, his debut single A Billion Hits was released. This was followed by the release of the second single Heard It on the Radio on July 13, 2012. He had sung 14 songs for Austin & Ally, which was released on September 12, 2012. The album peaked at  #27 on the Billboard 200, Billboard's Top Soundtracks, and #1 on Billboard's Kid Albums.

Between 2013 and 2015, Ross Lynch recorded songs for  Austin & Ally: Turn It Up, Austin & Ally: Take It from the Top, Teen Beach Movie, and Teen Beach 2.

Ross Lynch started his career as an actor in 2014 with the film Muppets Most Wanted. Since then, he has portrayed roles in Snowtime!, A Chorus Line, Status Update (2018), My Friend Dahmer (2017), Holy (2023).

He has also starred in the TV series Austin & Ally (2011), Girl Meets World, Teen Beach Movie, Teen Beach 2, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, etc.
