However, sources close to Nair reported that he and Vernier had broken up in late 2019/early 2020.

They have since tied the knot, and his wife's name is Joana Tavira-Nair, an architect. They had a wedding ceremony on April 29, 2023, in Portugal. He is yet to welcome any children with his wife. Early Career

The career of Staz Nair started in 2016. The same year, he was cast in Bazodee, which was directed by Todd Kessler. He was cast as Qhono in Game of Thrones alongside Emilia Clarke in 2016 ( in the sixth and seventh seasons). He is set to appear in season 8 of the series.

Nair also made an appearance in 2016’s TV film The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again as Rocky alongside Laverne Cox, Victoria Justice, Adam Lambert, and Reeve Carney.

He was also a contestant in 2012’s X Factor UK as a part of the boy band Times Red. But the band did pass the audition but failed to secure a place in X Factor's live shows and were sent home. The band did release a single, Just No Good For Me in 2013, but it did not make it to the charts.

Nair has had small roles in Harry Potter and the half-blood prince, An Inspector Calls, Prince Sanadalous, Super Girl (2019), and the TV series Tyrant. He also has had a guest appearance in season 3 of Humans alongside Gemma Chan. Staz Nair is currently managed by Storm Management.
