He was born to his father, Anthony Sandoval, who worked as a businessman, and his mother, Terri Green, who worked at Creve Coeur Fire Protection. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, a brother named Brian Sandoval.

The reality star Tom Sandoval is also an inspiring actor and a model. He was discovered by filmmaker David DeCoteau and was cast in the film Playing with Fire (2008). 

This was followed by roles in Alien Presence (2009), The Pit and the Pendulum (2009), Puppet Master: Axil of Evil (2010), Behind Your Eyes (2011), and 23 Minutes to Sunrise (2012) was also cast as a model on The Hills back.
