DeAngelo Williams is a former American football running back by profession and an African-American by nationality. He played for the Carolina Panthers from 2006 to 2014 and for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2015 to 2016.

DeAngelo Williams’ birth took place on April 25, 1983, in Wynne, Arkansas, USA. He was born DeAngelo Chondon Williams to parents Odell Hill and Sandra Hill. He is not the only child of his parents and has a sibling, a sister.

For education, DeAngelo Williams attended Wynne High School. After graduation, he enrolled at the University of Memphis, where he played for the Memphis Tigers football team.

DeAngelo Williams married his longtime girlfriend, Risalyn Burzynski, on 23 July 2016. He and his wife have four children, two sons, and two daughters. Before fame

Williams played football in both his high school and college days. He was a letterman in track & field, but could not play in his sophomore season due to a broken bone in his foot. 

In 2004, he was named 2004 Pro Football Weekly All-America Team and Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year for the third straight year.

Played for

In the 2006 NFL draft, DeAngelo Williams was and on April 29, 2006, was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the first round with the 27th overall pick. From 2006 to 2014, he played for the Carolina Panthers.

While on the team, he played against the Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers,  San Francisco 49ers,  New Orleans Saints, and Seattle Seahawks, to name a few. On March 10, 2015, DeAngelo Williams was released from the team.

On March 13, 2015, he signed a two-year contract, $4.0 million with the Pittsburgh Steelers. After a successful season, he announced his retirement from the NFL via Facebook on June 25, 2018.

In addition to playing football, he is also a wrestler and appeared on the April 2, 2017, episode of Impact Wrestling, but soon announced his retirement on July 5, 2017. In addition, he is also a breast cancer activist.

On  July 2, 2018, Williams announced his return to wrestling for Impact.
