Vince Wilfork’s birth took place on November 4, 1981, in Boynton Beach, Florida, USA. He was born Vincent Lamar Wilfork to parents David Wilfork and Barbara Wilfork. He also has an older sibling, a brother, David Wilfork, Jr.

Both of his parents died in 2002. His father passed away in June 2002 due to complications of diabetes, while his mother died due to a stroke in December 2002.

For education, Vince Wilfork attended Santaluces Community High School. There, he was a letter-winner in football, wrestling, and track and field. After graduation, he enrolled at the University of Miami.

D'Aundre Wilfork, safety at the University of Houston, was arrested in December 2016 with codeine in his possession. He was later released from the University of Houston’s football program.

The marriage ended in divorce.

Before fame

While at college, he played on the Miami Hurricanes football team. In 2004, he entered the 2004 NFL Draft, in which he was ranked as the No. 2 defensive tackle. He was drafted by New England Patriots with the 21st overall pick.

Played for

For the next 13 seasons, Vince Wilfork played for the New England Patriots. In the 2011 season, he recorded 3.5 sacks, his new career high, and was also selected to the AFC's 2012 Pro Bowl roster. At the end of the 2014 league season, Wilfork was a free agent.

On March 16, 2015, Wilfork signed a two-year contract with the Houston Texans. On August 9, 2017, Vince Wilfork held a press conference to announce his retirement and also signed a one-day contract to retire with the Patriots.
