Mason Crosby was born on September 3, 1984, in Lubbock, Texas, USA. His full name is Mason Walker Crosby, his father is Jim Crosby, and his mother is Karen Crosby. He is not the only child of his parents and has two siblings- brother Rees Crosby and sister Ashley Fraser.
Growing up, Crosby was encouraged by his father to pick up football. His father also played football at college.

Mason Crosby dated his girlfriend, Molly Ackerman. He married his fiancé, Ackerman, on June 28, 2008, and has 5 children together - 4 daughters and a son.

The couple welcomed their daughter Charlotte Crosby in May 2013, followed by a baby girl, whose name is not known. His wife, Ackerman, delivered twin girls, Felicity and Christine. Mason Crosby – Career
Early Days
Mason Crosby was trained by his father to play football from an early age. He played football from his school days all the way to College. From 2003-2006, he played for the Colorado Buffaloes football team and broke records there.
With his extraordinary leg strength, he made a 60-yard field goal against Iowa State in 2004 and a 58-yard field goal against Miami in 2005. In total, he held 31 school records.

In NFL
In 2007, Crosby was chosen by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the NFL Draft. In the first preseason game, he kicked a 52-yard field goal in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The kick was the longest field goal in the history of Heinz Field.
Mason Crosby’s first game was with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he kicked a 50-yard field goal and a winning field goal with a minute remaining. In the 2010 season, he played against the Steelers. Following all his record-breaking longest field goals, he was re-signed to the Green Bay Packers on July 27, 2011, to a 5-year and $14 million deal.

After successful seasons, he signed a four-year contract extension on March 1, 2016, with the Green Bay Packers. In the 2017 season, Mason Crosby completed the season with a 78.9% Field Goal completion percentage. The game was the lowest since 2010.
But in 2017, due to Aaron Rodgers’ injury, defensive difficulties, and special team miscues, Crosby did not play the playoff game in his 10-year-long NFL career.
In the 2008 NFL season, Crosby had a rocky game path. In Week 2, he missed a second goal attempt, ending the game with the Minnesota Vikings in a tie. In week 5, he missed 4 field goals and an extra point in a single game. In Week 6, he bounced back with a 33–30 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
